We are currently accepting applications for a high-energy, experienced Sales Professionals to work in our showrooms. High earning potential for dedicated and enthusiastic sales professionals.

Sales experience in the Rugs and/or Home Furnishings business a big plus.

Qualifications:

Ability to communicate and build rapport with a wide range of people.

Ability to listen carefully to clients in order to fulfill their needs.

Able to problem solve and provide focused information about merchandise.

Willingness and ability to take direction and accept constructive criticism in order to grow and be successful.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Must have a car, valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Basic computer skills – Word, Excel, email, web.

Be team-oriented and work collaboratively to achieve team goals.

Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds on a daily, ongoing basis.

Climb six foot ladder to hang rugs in racks.

Be assertive, enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible.

Can be trusted to maintain confidentiality and advocate company values.

Must pass a pre-hire background check and complete a physical.

Responsibilities:

Present a consistent, professional appearance and image.

Sell Rugs, Furniture and Home Accessories

Sales Professionals at NW Rugs expertly assist customers and designers.

Listen carefully and handle customer questions effectively.

Maintain strong, ongoing working relationships with customers and designers.

Work as an integral part of a professional team committed to excellence and success.

Maintain an attractive, tasteful, clean showroom.

Actively participate in ongoing, industry specific sales training program.

WORK HOURS:

Monday – Saturday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Sunday 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Days off are during the week – No weekends off
